Who Powers the Salad Cloud?

Salad Cloud is powered by a distributed network of consumer grade gaming PCs. Our compute providers download the Salad app and follow through a machine onboarding journey that ensures they are ready to receive your application workloads. Then the user determines what resources they want to share and when.

Do Salad users run my workload while they game?

No. Salad is meant to be run while users are AFK. We monitor heavy processes on the node and disable the node if it fails to meet the requirements for running a Container.

Can users access the content of my model while it's running on their node?

No. Salad takes measures to ensure your Container image and its content are not accessible to users. To learn more check out our Security page and our Trust Center.
